...I have been lucky enough to discover their intimate, breathless live shows. This lean trio stomps with the ferocity of a deadly orchestra onstage, held together by the righteous thumps of stickman Steve Beck. Meanwhile, singer / guitarist Alex Giorgetti and bassist / singer Matt Smith conjure a dizzying array of sounds from their axes, which enhance scorchers such as “The Pull” and “Landmine.” While their recently-released Dustfires is a worthy introduction to the group, it is clear that the stage is where the boys best thrive.
